Where/When is the cycle starting?
The cycle will start from the Tracton GAA Grounds in Minane Bridge. Registration is open at 8.00am on the morning of the cycle and you should be on the road around 9am.
Can somebody else register me?
Yes , there is no problem being registered by somebody else. Just make sure you fill in the correct name on the registration page.
What should I bring?
Please make sure your bike is in good working order. Have a spare tube and portable pump in order to fix any punctures. Monitor the weather and ensure you are dressed appropriately. There will be water and refreshment stops but ensure you have your own water bottles and a few small snacks.
Can I register on the day?
There is no problem registering on the day. We are offering an early bird registration of €35for the 100km route and €25for the 50km route until May 1st. After that it will increase to €45/€35 for the 100/50km respectively.
How long are the routes?
You can choose from a 50km or 100km route.
What age do you have to be?
You must be age 16 or over to take part. However those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Are there any stops?
There will be a refreshment stop after 30km in Kinsale and those doing the 100km route will have a stop after 50km in Ballinspittle.
What roads will be closed?
No. The roads will not be closed. You must obey the rules of the road at all times. We will have marshals all along the routes as well as support vehicles.
